“Beautiful quality and very well made. The fabric feels luxurious without being slippery, and I wake up with far less tangled hair. Worth every penny.”

If there is a bolder choice in this collection than the Scarlet Rose, it has not been introduced yet. Vivid scarlet roses on a deep ground — this is not a print that blends quietly into a room. It is a print that decides what the room is about. For beds that want to be seen rather than merely slept in, and for people whose taste has never required anyone else's approval.
Printed on 100% Grade 6A pure mulberry silk charmeuse at 16.5 momme. Because dye penetrates the protein fibre of silk rather than coating the surface, the scarlet and deep ground retain their intensity wash after wash. The same Grade 6A charmeuse reduces friction against hair and skin, helps retain overnight moisture, and stays naturally cool, breathable and hypoallergenic.
Available in Standard (51×66 cm), Queen (51×76 cm) and King (51×91 cm). Concealed zip closure. Arrives in a gift box.

Mulberry Silk Benefits
Mulberry Silk Benefits
What it does every single night:
- 100% Pure Mulberry Silk — Not "Silk-Feel." Not Satin. Silk. Grade 6A mulberry silk - the highest grading available — is produced from silkworms fed exclusively on mulberry leaves, creating a long-strand, uniform fibre with natural protein that works in harmony with your skin while you sleep. It is the standard used by dermatologists, trichologists and five-star hotels globally.
- The Ultimate Beauty Slip - Without Any Extra Effort: Silk's smooth charmeuse surface eliminates the friction that creates bedhead, breakage and morning frizz. You wake up with your hair closer to how you went to bed - whether that is a blowout that lasts another day, or curls that are intact rather than matted.
- Your Skincare Stays On Your Face — Not Your Pillow: Cotton absorbs moisture - including the expensive serums, oils and night creams you apply before bed. Silk does not. It is naturally non-absorbent, which means your overnight skincare routine actually works on your skin overnight instead of being wicked away by the pillow within an hour of you falling asleep.
- Fewer Sleep Lines & Morning Creases: Cotton compresses against facial skin during the night, creating repeated mechanical friction in the same areas — exactly where sleep lines form over years. Silk creates virtually no compression creasing. Your skin rests against it rather than being pushed by it.
- Breathable & Thermoregulating — Year-Round Comfort: Natural silk adapts to its environment. Cool and refreshing in summer, quietly warm in winter. Unlike polyester or synthetic covers that trap heat and hold it against you, silk regulates — keeping cushions and sofas comfortable for every season, every use.
- Hypoallergenic - Naturally Resistant to Allergens: Silk's natural protein structure repels dust mites, mould spores and common allergens. If you have sensitive skin, eczema or respiratory allergies — or you simply wake up with congestion or irritation you cannot explain — your pillowcase is one of the most likely culprits. Mulberry silk is not.
- Breathable & Thermoregulating — Cool in Summer, Warm in Winter: Silk naturally regulates temperature, drawing heat away from skin when you are warm and holding it in when you are cool. Unlike polyester pillow covers that trap heat and cause night sweats, silk keeps the sleep environment balanced - contributing to deeper, less interrupted sleep.
- Good for Curly, Colour-Treated and Fragile Hair: The lower friction surface preserves curl definition, reduces frizz and minimises mechanical stress on hair that is already under strain from chemical treatments, heat styling or natural fragility. A silk pillowcase is consistently one of the first recommendations made by hairdressers and trichologists for protecting hair health between appointments.
- A Luxury Silk Pillowcase That Holds Its Value:
For little more than the cost of a dinner out, a Jass London natural mulberry silk pillowcase delivers years of everyday comfort and beauty sleep benefits with proper care. Crafted from premium silk, it becomes softer and smoother with each gentle wash - never rough, stiff, or worn-looking like ordinary cotton pillowcases. It is the kind of luxury bedding investment that feels indulgent at first, then quickly becomes an essential part of your nightly skincare and haircare routine.
Silk Care Guide
Silk Care Guide
Your silk pillowcase works hardest for your hair and skin when it is clean and well-maintained. The right care routine takes five minutes and preserves the softness, sheen and hypoallergenic properties of your investment for years.
Machine Washing - Delicate Cycle
- Turn inside-out before washing — the glossy charmeuse face is protected from direct friction against the drum or other fabrics.
- Place in a mesh laundry bag — essential for preventing snags and protecting the zip closure during the cycle.
- Use a silk-safe detergent — pH-neutral, enzyme-free, liquid formula. No biological detergents, no bleach, no fabric softeners, no optical brighteners. These degrade the sericin protein in silk and permanently alter its texture and hypoallergenic properties.
- Cold water, 30°C maximum, delicate or silk cycle — wash silk items separately from heavy fabrics (denim, towels, anything with metal fastenings).
Hand Washing - Preferred Methode
- Fill a clean basin with cool or lukewarm water. Dissolve a small amount of silk detergent in the water before adding the pillowcase.
- Gently agitate by hand - no rubbing, scrubbing or twisting. The motion should be slow and light. Soak for no longer than 3–5 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly in cool clean water until the water runs completely clear. Detergent residue left in the fibres dulls the sheen and attracts dirt more quickly.
Drying
- Never wring or twist — gently squeeze or press out excess water, or roll in a clean white towel and apply light pressure to absorb moisture.
- Air dry away from direct sunlight — hang or lay flat in a shaded, ventilated space. UV exposure from direct sunlight degrades silk protein and causes irreversible colour fading.
- Never tumble dry — heat and mechanical drum action permanently damage silk fibre structure.
Ironing & Storage
- Iron while slightly damp if needed — inside-out, on the lowest silk setting. A pressing cloth between the iron and the silk gives extra protection.
- Store flat or folded in a breathable fabric bag — away from direct light and damp. Avoid airtight plastic bags, which trap moisture and can cause silk to yellow.
Longevity tip
With these simple steps, your Jass London silk will last two to three years of regular use - often longer. Many of our customers have been using the same pieces for three years and counting. The key is consistent care: cool water, gentle detergent, and air drying. Nothing complicated.
⚠ Never use biological detergents, bleach or fabric softeners on silk. These break down the natural sericin protein that gives silk its hypoallergenic and skin-friendly properties - and the damage is permanent.
